Consortium Wins $360m Contract

Kuala Lumpur. A consortium of four Malaysian firms has won a construction contract worth 1.32 billion ringgit ($360 million) in the UAE, the companies said, yesterday. Tronoh, IJM, LFE and Sunway Holdings will have equal interest in the consortium, which will design and build five towers and seven villas in Abu Dhabi. The duration for the project is 31 months.
