Working with the main contractor, Shimizu Corporation of Japan, European Profiles scope is to design, supply and install the roofing envelope to meet the stringent performance and design criteria of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. The high built roofing system comprising nine components, has a total thickness of 316mm. Superior PVDF coated aluminium roofing sheets is used for the outer roofing membrane with a total coverage of approximately 60,000 sq. metres. The scope of work is also inclusive of supplying and installing aluminium coping panels along the perimeter of the terminal piers to meet the architect intent. As single length roofing sheets were required, roll-forming shall be conducted at site. Work is expected to begin towards the end of 2004.
